Our tastefull product, orange honey, comes from Argolida region of Peloponnese in Greece. Our orange honey is an intensely sweet honey and has a strong, wonderful aroma and an extremely unique and refreshing taste, often includes a light and fruity sweetness with subtle citrus notes. This type of honey is rich in Vitamin C and has a strong anxiolytic and soothing effect.
About Producer
Our Honey Farm Aposporis, is located at the historical place of Marathon, a place with a remarkable cultural heritage. In our Honey Farm you will learn everything about bees and honey. During our educational programmes every visitor can observe the anatomy of bees, you can see from a close distance their society and you will spot their queen, among the other bee workers. We will expain to you what they eat, where they store their food, which are their rules in their small and well organized community. We will saw to you what does every hive has inside, which are the tools that a beekeper has, the way we get the honey and how we store it. Also, how royal jelly and pollen are produced.
