Rosewater Filia Rose

Filia Rose rose water is produced after double distillation in an essential oil distiller, with the minimum possible addition of water and containing all the rose essential oil. The rose petals are harvested before sunrise, by hand, from endemic rose bushes of the Rosa Damascena family (plant entry in the corresponding list of the ELGO-DIMITRA institute).The cultivation of the plants is done in traditional terraces, without wasting water and with agro-ecological methods that ensure a certified organic product and with additional certification for the effort to preserve wild pollinators.

About Producer

In the small field of grandfather George, which extends on stone terraces, we cultivate with agroecological methods, an endemic variety of roses, figs and grapes. This ensures that our products are certified organic and with additional certification that we support the conservation of wild pollinators.
The harvesting and processing of the products is done in our cottage industry by hand and using traditional methods – which in some cases we have modernized, producing flavors that bring the popular local culture to meet the increased needs for health, wellness and taste of today.
