Fresh soft whey cheese, with the addition of a small amount of cow’s milk, with a fresh and pleasant sweet taste. Makes delicious desserts and pies and is suitable for diets. It can be eaten plain or with honey, nuts or jam or as a table cheese and in salads.

About Producer

A family business whose roots go back to 1970 when Manolis Pittaras bought a calf for his children to drink milk. The family’s love for animals made this farm become the largest cow’s milk production unit located on an island. Starting with love and a full sense of responsibility from sowing the seeds for the production of the feed to harvesting it, feeding the animals exclusively from non-GMO feed, milking and transporting the milk to the dairy, since 2009 in Melanes of Naxos, the Pittaras Cheese Factory has been creating fine traditional products, made from fresh cow’s milk that comes exclusively from the privately owned farm.
